Tauheed – Seek Help from Allah this Ramadan

Assalamu alaikum.

One of the requirements of complete tauheed is to seek help from Allah alone as it is Allah who has all goodness and evil at His Disposal.

It is Shirk to Seek Aid From Other Than Allah.

None is further astray nor more ignorant than the one who rejects the worship of the All-hearing, the One Who answers, and instead, worships influential and rich people whom are unable to answer him until the Hour comes.

No benefit can reach you except that Allah has decreed it. This is why Allah says:

“Nor call on any besides Allah, such can neither profit you, nor hurt you. If you do, then you will surely be one of the zalimun”
[Qur’an 10:106]

Whoever called upon ‘powerful people’, believing that they possess the power to benefit or harm him without Allah, has committed an act of shirk!

Have you heard the story of the meeting between the two forces? One party fighting for Allah and the other persistent upon shirk.

313 muslims against 1000 polytheists, You could absolve the frail hearted for being pessimistic. The prophet ( peace be upon him ) was stronger that and sought Allah’s help when he supplicated:

“O Allah! I appeal to You (to fulfil) Your Covenant and Promise.” [Bukhari 59:289]

And Allah duly responded:

“When you sought help of your Lord and He answered you (saying): “I will help you with a thousand of the angels each behind the other (following one another) in succession.”
[Al-Anfal 8:9]

By Allah’s mercy, the Muslims were victorious at the battle of Badr. It wasn’t the physical strength of the Muslims. This is why Allah says:

“If Allah helps you, none can overcome you; and if he forsakes you, who is there after Him that can help you?” [Qur’an 3:160]

Today, Muslims forget they have Allah and seek help from friends and relatives. In these times of rampant unemployment, you hear them say:

“If you don’t know anyone influential, then who will help you? how will you get the job?”

Allah the most Rich says we should call on Him.

He says:

“Then seek your wealth from Allah, worship Him and be grateful to Him, To Him will you return” [Qur’an 29:17]

This is Ramadan – therefore Seek help from Allah for acquiring wealth.

Seek help from Allah for all your problems.

Ramadan is the month that dreams come true. Our supplications at the time of breaking the fast are never rejected. [Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3598]

Upgrade your skills as much as you can, pursue all available opportunities, in sha Allah you will get a good response.

Assalamu Alaikum
